I have been trying to eat "healthy-ish" for a few weeks now and it's not going so bad. My go-to for when I crave something sweet (all of the time!!) is this avocado chocolate mousse.
1 avocado, flesh removed from skin
2 medium bananas, peeled
2 tablespoons cocoa powder (I prefer Hershey's Special Dark)
1 teaspoon vanilla (I make my own with a vanilla bean and bourbon)
Pinch of salt
Pinch of cinnamon
Splash of water
Throw everything into a food processor and blend until smooth. Transfer to bowl and refrigerate until ready to indulge. When ready, top with your favorite treats. I have been topping mine with flax seeds (healthy) and coconut flakes, but you can also top with nuts, chocolate candy, chocolate pieces, and even more chocolate!
